This Aqua Organic Shirt from Where Does it Come From? was created using 100% handspun, handwoven organic cotton, a fabric known as khadi. Each shirt is tailored by hand and is soft and stylish. Our shirts come with wooden buttons and a pocket on the breast and is long-sleeved. The design is classic and comfortable – suitable for work and leisure.

Hand-woven fabrics are naturally more breathable so you will find them cooler in summer and warmer in winter – a perfect year-round wardrobe staple.

These shirts are eco-friendly – You can explore the traditional production methods such as hand spinning and hand weaving which are much kinder to the environment. The dyeing process uses a fifth of the water normally required and the hand spinning and hand weaving are virtually carbon free.

These shirts are ethical – the fabrics are created by co-operatives which are run according to the principles set down by Mahatma Gandhi as part of his vision to empower rural people in India. WDICF? also work with artisan groups and social enterprises in the dyeing, printing and tailoring of our shirts.

How to Measure Yourself

Chest band: wrap the tape measure around your body, just under your bust.

Bust: measure the fullest part of your bust.

Waist: measure around your body approximately 5cm below your natural waist where the waistband of trousers normally sit.

Lower hip: wrap the tape measure around the fullest part of your hips and bottom.
