Our Trip to Steph's Packed Lunch on Channel 4!

Sarah Jordan on Steph's Packed Lunch

We were so excited to be included in Channel 4's Steph's Packed Lunch, which aired on Tuesday 16th March. The theme of the week was ‘Giving Back’ and we were featured alongside two other businesses for good, Migrating Art Company and Relish Spice Mix

It was a bit of a nerve-wracking experience for our CEO, Sarah, who travelled up to the studio in Leeds to appear on our screens, but she powered through and helped to spread the word all about our ethical undies and Smalls For All’s amazing charity work.

Sarah arrived in Leeds the night before the live show and spent the evening preparing and drawing plans for our stall so that we could best display our products. We managed to show off all our sustainable underwear, face masks and packaging, as well as giving a sneak preview of some new colours that are coming soon!

Although the weather was very windy, we managed not to lose any underwear to the elements and after the show ended, we packed everything up and set off home - relieved but exhilarated! The whole team at Steph’s Packed Lunch were so friendly and accommodating and meeting Steph and Oti was a great way to end the day!

Being on the show made a big difference to the charities we support too. We got 35 orders on the day with nearly 80 pairs of undies ordered, which means that we will be donating 120 pairs of underwear to Smalls for All, as well as another 20 pairs to girls in Maasai communities in Kenya. That's at least 40 girls able to attend school because they have undies! So thanks to Steph's Packed Lunch audience, there's a whole classroom of girls able to complete their education - every purchase really does make a difference!

Head over to the Channel 4 website for the next couple of weeks if you want to watch the full show. The Small Business Market segment is about an hour in.
